Fees and Insurance:
Unless payment arrangements are made, you will be expected to pay for services as they are rendered. Our office accepts Visa, MasterCard, cash, check, Care Credit, and offer discounts for non-insurance reimbursable services under the ChiroHealth program.
You may also set up a personal payment plan so that you can get the care you need, when you need it (as opposed to when you can afford it.) Emily will be happy to help you work out any financial matters.

Laser
Low-level laser therapy is a form of phototherapy which involves the application of low power coherent light to injuries and lesions to stimulate healing. It is used to increase the speed, quality and tensile strength of tissue repair, resolve inflammation, increase range of motion and give pain relief.
The effects of low-level laser therapy are photochemical (cold), not thermal (hot). During the treatment of tissue, an interaction between cells and photons (light particles) takes place. Photons from the laser effect the tissue at the cellular level.
The cold laser enters the tissues, alters cell membrane permeability, and at the cellular level is absorbed in the mitochondria (the part of the cell that makes energy). When the mitochondria produces more energy, whatever that particular cell is designed to do gets done ‘better’.
Research has shown that the cells of your body actually communicate with each other using coherent light. Besides increasing the amount of energy available at a cellular level, specific pulsations (Hz) are programmed into the laser, which lets the laser ‘talk’ to each cell. This has been shown to create different physiological responses in the cell.
